2 ambulances and 4 police cars in attendance outside Sports Direct just after 2 PM.
Seems as if a lady got knocked down by a car in the pedestrian precinct.

My daughter has just walked past there and apparently still a lot of activity but the ambulances have gone. Same incident or another?

It is all happening at the moment, there was a break in at Charlton Centre last night. The police take nearly an hour to turn up and the kids have gone which is not exactly surprising.

A dog savaged another dog and bit a policewoman.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

The Air ambulance explains why Pencester Road was suddenly closed to traffic, someone said it was a learner driver that hit the elderly lady, there were plenty of witness statements being taken.

As for the story regarding the Charlton centre, our Police force is fast becoming an absolute joke and not fit for purpose, sad to say but theres no better time to be a criminal than now.

Paramedics were treating a young man on the pavement outside the "Golden Lion" this morning.
