I all so had a number of visits to vimy,and have the guides helpful.
if you liked vimy ridge,can I recommend you have a 3 day visit to verdum.some of the sites will move you to tears.

IF anyone is interested I have a gallery of images of western front sites on my website, mainly from Ypres and the Somme, just click on the link below. I take groups across to Ypres on a very iregular basis and it is interesting to watch how a group changes as the tour continues. Who cannot be moved by Tyne Cot, Langemarck or Essex Farm, not to mention the Menin Gate service.
