Time to relax this thread now and let it drift on the wind. We will always remember Colin very fondly both for who he was and for his marvellous contributions here on Doverforum. I remember just a few weeks before the end he wrote to me. I was still hopeful at that point...but he said that I had permission to use his pictures in the future.
There was something ominous in that statement at the time, and I began to realise he wasnt going to get better. It was sad indeed.
He had promised to buy me a drink in the White Horse too. Some people will do anything to get out of buying a drink
But wherever you are now Colin I will always be able to tell that story !lol
