"I'd define the immigration policy as follows. British people have been neglected in their own Country, many young people leaving school left to rot" (AD)
NOT left to rot, but choosing their own path, Alex D. I am a bleeding heart liberal, a leftie, a fluffy social worker type (Actually that's not true: I am a proper ann widdecombe manager hell bent on sacking the inept and penalising the lazy. That is true, when I am at work....) but politically I am the soft, rather blurred leftie in striped socks and a hairband type. And even I can see that people have choices, make lifestyle choices and refuse support and help when it's offered. I recognise (soft cuddly fluffy bit) that it can be a challenge to overcome societal deficits and family fractures, but (hard nosed manager with guts of steel and head of flint) people have choices to make, are mostly grown up and with full mental capacity, able to vote, have kids, smoke, drink, play a full part in the privilege that is deomocracy, and so should, therefore, BEHAVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
