As you know I am always going round Deal and this morning I was there at 0815hrs looking in all the shop windows and saw this book in a shop window which sells old books,and the photos look great So I got it,they had other books of Dover so I got them as well they are Dover Tribute in photographs by Mr Budge Adams Compiled by again Mr Bob hollingsbee and Mr Derek Leach.(Now where have I heard that name before.?) 2004. And the last one Dover in old picture postcards by again Mr Bob Hollingsbee Second edition 1993, all 3 books look very good.Totel cost of all 3 books was £9

Did you get your passport checked before you entered Deal Vic?

Yes I did, but would only give me a day card of 3hours only.

Already done that ,but was told more then 3hours of Vic Matcham is more then we can put up with.Been looking at the books must say they are very good,and as I I have been around in Dover from the 1940s,it brings it all back to me.And how Dover was in what I call the good times of the town,but will not say anymore about that now or on this post. Thank you.

As far as I know, Bobs books are now all out of print so will not be easily obtainable now.
