Orbs! Many folk believe these to be all sorts of things, however, like most things, the answer is often quite simple. In the good old days of film a lens could suffer from flare, light bounceing around in the optics, orbs can be the digital equivalent. Orbs can also appear because a single pixel on the sensor has malfunctioned, this is more common on smaller sensored cameras, compacts etc, the smaller the sensor the greater the risk of orbs. Don't worry about them, they do no damage to the sensor and are not perminant.
