16:0990860the serious organised crime agency have announced that there have been inroads made into closing the supply routes of class a drug heroin. so much so that the street price has doubled.
the leading drug testing company concateno said that positive readings by heroin users has halved over the past 6 months.
the downside is that suppliers/dealers are adulterating their merchandise to make their stock go further.
on a lesser note cannabis with a street value of 3 million quid has been discovered on a truck that arrived in ramsgate from ostend yesterday hidden in a consignment of mushroom compost.
the driver, a 25 year old u.k. national has been arrested.

a) their figures for street prices were credible rather than sheer fantasy
b) the reduction was due to opium production falls in the Afghan/Pakistan border area due to coalition troops convincing farmers to grow food crops
