  This reminds me of a story from Tesco a couple of weeks ago...I was buying something of an alcoholic nature and the young training girl on the till turned to her supervisor and asked for back up confirmation that I was over 18. The supervisor laughed so he did..when he took a look at me..all white hair and white beard !!

  the law is that anyone under 18 has to contact a member of staff over 18 before serving alcohol to anyone, strange as it may seem she was just doing her job.
