Well, I'm talking locally and there isn't much Labour support in the areas we've been talking to.
National politics always play a big part in local elections, but there is a strong need for us to separate the two and locally, the Conservatives have done well over the last 8 years.
Labour are desperate, I guess that's why they are putting out the drivel that is on the front page - scare-mongering.
Presumably they are against a Unitary Authority for East Kent ? Not that I'm necessarily for it, but with the shared services initiatives, it is the natural end-game - and you can't (sensibly) go Unitary without this natural progression of shared services.
If you want Dover to grow, not stagnate, don't listen, or be taken in by them.
