  kcc are cutting the social care budget but this is not necessarily a bad thing.
  
  i remember one of their top councillors explaining how they would get around the coalition cuts and he made good sense - basically there would be more people staying in their own homes rather than going to care homes, with regular visits from care staff.
  
  surely that is better than being shunted off to a strange place full up with zimmer frsmes and being force fed cabbage?
