we all remember the kerfuffle over money lost by english councils, some good news at last.
an icelandic bank has decreed that k.c.c. and other local councils are preferential creditors when all assets are sorted.
they had already got back £.9 million from heritable, it looks like glitner and landbanski may have to shell out another £.32 million between them.
with luck d.d.c. will get their trifling million back.
all subject to appeal though, could be a long road with the lawyers having a field day.

I've got a half idea that Iceland has been over-fishing in Atlantic waters, lately, to get in revenues to bail out the banks there.
