    GaryC - so why did they try to go through the Dartford Tunnel? To join the mob of thugs trying to bully and intimidate working miners into stopping work, that's why. It was morally right that they were stopped.

    As I said we just have to be glad the thugs lost.

    I am quite sure that a great many miners deserved to be sacked and/or arrested for their behaviour.

    Yes - a great deal of damage was done and you can blame Scargill and all those who supported that illegal strike for that.
