    most of us of a certain age can remember the t.v. pictures of nottinghamshire miners gloating at the pickets when being escorted to and from work.

    like all collaborators they done ok for a while but when their use was no longer needed their pits were closed like all the others.

    30 pieces of silver doesn't last very long.
