My wife Gloria and our next door neighbour Mrs. Hazel Wouldham have sent 500 welfare boxes to our services in Afghanistan in the last 12 months.
Customers and staff at Corinnes Hair salon in Whitfield donate goods for us to box up, Corinnes husband Phil also does the same from his work mates at the Channel Tunnel at Folkestone. They also have collection tins which are regularly emptied and Mrs. Wouldham uses the money to buy various items at local Dover stores. I just print out the labels and stick them on the boxes along with the Customs label. The ladies at Whitfield Post Office are very good and also contribute to the boxes. They go post free if under 2 kgs.
