Today I'm changing back to BT from Virgin. In case you never hear from me again it's because it's all been cocked up.

Good luck Terry, I am with Virgin for phone, broadband and tv and in all the time I have been with them have only had a couple of minor blips.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

The only problem I have with them Jan is cost! I wasn't enamoured with them when I cancelled, I got some bolshie bloke who accused me of "rudely interpreting him" when I declined his various offers. A lady (very polite) rang me again the following day by trying to win me back by offering tv, phone and broadband for £18 a month, and yes, that included phone rental!

Good luck Terry. I am with Virgin, they always seem to be fixing things that are not broken! A couple of days last week I was without the internet which was a pain in the a*se because I work from home. I find their customer service department a little lacking in customer service, I always come away feeling like I have been spoken to like a 'stupid woman'. I would have left long ago but for the fact I can't transfer the two e mail address' I have with them. Maybe I should threaten to leave to see what sort of special offers they might tempt me with

i am with b.t and i have to say they are pretty useless, my phone line is very faint, they insist that the line is o.k.
i have changed the handset just in case that was the problem.

dont get me started on the useless service providers...
i shall grumble for hours about useless service, broadband that spent more time down than it did up, but apparently it was me... ohhh i was such a happy camper you can imagine...
they know my name very well in the BT business support team...

Almost fully back now. Had some email issues which have been resolved now and only my computer works, the box doesn't like my network. My son is coming in tomorrow to get 'er indoors machine and my laptop working.
Maureen had just checked her email on my machine and commented how fast it was. On Virgin I tottered along at between 5 and 6 meg, less on a bad day. BT estimated 17, I've just checked it, it's 19.
All in all a good change.

Virgin only took away the main boxes. If anyone wants a spare remote you are welcome.
It's this version, if yours doesn't look like this it won't work.
Give me a shout if you want it.

We're lucky to get a half here in Lydden and that's only when the kids are in school or tucked up in bed

surprised to hear that ray, if you remember k.c.c. had set aside dosh for improved broadband for the straw chewing communities in the garden of england.
i trust the money was not frittered away but i did note going through lydden earlier in the week that everyone seemed to be wearing brand new smocks.
