Will hopefully for LAST TIME explain, the labour party selects its candidates to stand for the Town council as LABOUR town cllrs, now don't get me wrong I have no probs with those that stand for indy party, at least you know they are the oppossition.
After selectiion the LABOUR party canvasses, and leaflets for them to get elctected as LABOUR town cllrs.
Having achieved this, like all councils across the UK THE LABOUR GROUP on the town council holds group meetings.
one such meeting is to decide its nomination to be mayor etc.
having done this and decided who it was to be and the rebel 4 made no obseervation that they were going to go against the democratic decision and instead go in with another party.
OK so i hear you say, town council should be non political, where i don't have a real problem with that, but at this time both labour and the conservatives field candidates and im hearing a deal has been reached between the tories/indies not to oppose each other which if true is interesting.
So my clear view is, if these rebel 4 want to be indies then thats fine at least it would clear to everyone.
i won't get into the personal stuff
this is about do the rebel 4 want to be part of the labour party they signed up and said they would abide by democratic decisions or not.
At the moment It appears not.
