Thick snow here in Leicestershire to distract us from the news and the disappointment of not being able to be by the sea in lovely Dover. All the children out having fun.

Hi Sue, as I mentioned earlier I'm still around. In the afternoons I take the dog for a walk along Whinless Downs. Thinking it might turn nasty I elected to walk to the seafront instead. I wish I hadn't, the snow and wind was something else in Castle Street. I came home.
I might do something exciting now and watch the bowls on the box. If I can stand the pace that is!

Same here Sue, the news is boringly repetitive, especially when they go on and on about the virus with very little important new information. I think if I see or hear the dull unimaginative Professor Witty government advert telling us how we should all behave I will scream, the selfish and ignorant will not change their ways.

Had a lovely walk in -2c along the pier and seafront at 7am with a beautiful sunrise, then went to work and the weather went downhill from there, now chilling / sleeping until I'm up again tomorrow for the same.

Sue
Although Mr Whittyay come across boring
I have found him up front even when Boris was putting the economy before lives lost.
Mr Whitty doesn't have the power to do any more than advise how bad it could be or best ways out
It's down to our fumbling govt to make these decisions on what to do to those who won't abide by the rules.
And of course it's up to opposition to be constructive in challenging .

A pain trying to find somewhere to sit up the cliffs, but managed to find a quiet place in a corner.
