A three-storey penthouse overlooking Hyde Park has been sold for £136m - becoming by far the most expensive flat ever bought in Britain.
An unnamed buyer, using lawyers in Ukraine, has bought two apartments in the newly opened One Hyde Park development in Knightsbridge that have been knocked into one to create a 25,000 sq ft penthouse with a wine cellar and access to room service at the neighbouring Mandarin Oriental hotel, a further £60 million is being spent by the owner 'doing the place up'.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

It's almost obscene, this amount of personal wealth; probably an Arab Sheik or Russian billionaire.

i ws thinking more blue barry here, the estate of the family of posh barry got done over by the iniquitous socialists after they gained power after the war.
a lot of property left though, kept going by the admission money he gets from the great unwashed when he opens to the doors to the public.
