  the blues know that his party eats into their votes and marginal seats go to the reds.
  the reds fully expected disenchanted yellow voters to jump ship to them, not so, many now see the protest vote as going the way of ukip.
  
  negative campaigning never works, as seen at the last election when dave was expected to get a majority.
