Well, since July last year actually. The lamp post on Shooters Hill was suffering from decades of dog pee. Almost 30% of the base had rotted away making it somewhat unsafe. I duly reported it and low and behold it was taped off the following day. Two days later, late at night, the men descended to cut it down.
About two months ago a new one was installed. Last week EDF arrived to connect it. Hurrah, we have light at last.
