About two hours ago there was a cacophony of noise outside my gaff, looking out there were about a dozen Roma children playing in the roads. The oldest was no more than 8 years old.
This carried on and just looked again and it seems like around 6 are still out there despite the street light not working(thanks KCC). I am trying not be old fashioned but I cannot understand why their parents allow this.

Have much the same problem here though British children, a 4 and 9yr old that can often be out until gone 8. More worryingly is a young girl of around 7 or 8 who is almost always out until 9 ish playing on her own, thankfully its a cul de sac and not a through road.

I have seen young children out and about at that time.
How things have changed from when my children were that age, mine would have either been in bed or at least getting ready for bed by 8.00pm.

I try to be neutral and polite but it is hard and getting even more difficult at times.

They are out there again only 8 of them this time but one can't be older than 3(three). The light is starting to fade and drivers are still coming home from work. They don't live close by so the parents cannot be interested where they are.
