A child rapist caught by DNA has been released from prison. He denied the crime until the DNA proved otherwise, he then confessed. When being sentenced the judge ordered that he must never be allowed to live in a house where there are children. Since the incident his mother moved to another town into a flat in a building where children live and share a communal garden. They will meet him in the stair wells and around the entry lobby etc. Surely this cannot be right? Anyone know about these sort of things.

He is in a flat not a home with children, thank goodness.
Most flats have areas where children will have access, whatever despicable crime he committed surely he still has the right to have a roof over his head. He will come into contact with children in the street simply by going shopping unless he lives as a hermit.
