    No unlikely...good to have your political contributions Jan...I noted the comment on the other thread. But The Lords will always remain party political I guess, and I suspect thats the only way it can be done. But what has been shocking lately is the emergence of news about some of the crooks in there. Call me naive but I would have hoped The Lords would have been above petty crookism.

    And not all that petty either...the amount swindled by Baroness Uddin and how it was done is to my mind clearly a criminal offence. I myself would be waving goodbye to my everyday freedoms if I falsely claimed more than £100,000 pounds from the taxpayer.
