  No arguement from me Howard , but the e rostering issue must be solved as well or else you will have the Consultants in with only the most inexperienced / junior nursing staff on duty to carry out the instructions

  the issue won't go away, the added benefit would be that the lazy oiks that make up a large proportion of weekend staff would be forced to get their act together.

  This idea does really sound very good indeed. A 7 day a week health service. What can be wrong with that.

  Excellent idea but why leave it at just hospital staff? Peter as a holding manager i'm sure you will be open all over Christmas and New Year, Howard I assume you worked a rostered 7 day week too and your lazy oinks comment is deeply offensive, especially to people like my Wife who works EVERY weekend and will be working Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day.

  dave i can only go by my experiences of hospitals at weekends and yes i did works evenings and weekends.

  Dave I you are dead right Mr Mcsweeney is very offensive just like the comments he makes .Hospital are very good 7days aweek and nights.Mr Mcsweeney you need to be put in your place just like you try to do to others on the forum.
