  Well that emotive title grabbed your attention. BBC Breakfast today highlighted a lady who was, unknown to her family, on "Pathway". When the family intervened and insisted she be fed and medicated she recovered.

  i have been following this story and though i believe that people involved are well meaning it sets an unsettling precedent.
  
  paragraphs 2 and 3 say a lot in my view.

  Who says that doctors are not allowed to perform euthanasia in the UK after all that is what the Liverpool Care Pathway is, not one swift injection but a long and slow death instead.
