Whatever good the front line do sometimes the people who set the systems let them down.
Last July I was referred to a consultant under the 2 week rule for urgent appraisal, he apologised and said the blood tests he had been sent meant that he was not the person to see and referred me back to my GP. After much to and froing I finally saw the same consultant about two weeks ago at the QEQM who then referred me to the K & C on Sunday week for a C.T scan. A day or so later I get a call saying that I need to see a consultant under the 2 week rule at Buckland so I pointed that it seemed to be a double booking but after being passed around a bit it was decided that the new appointments was with a consultant on another matter. Went to Buckland this afternoon and was told by the consultant that there was nothing he could and that the original would sort it all out.
Meanwhile I sit indoors with an overcoat on to keep warm despite the central heating going and my energy level gets lower and lower, don't do any voluntary work for WCCP nowadays basically because the NHS cannot read paper work properly.
