Our flat is on Homes under the Hammer tomorrow. The Sky plus is set. We will probably be squirming with embarrassment at seeing ourselves on the box.

Well good Luck with it and hope all goes well for you Judith Roberts... I always found Victoria Park a scary haunted place.
I had a viewing of a one bed flat back in 1999 and i didnt fell too comfortable with it. The only thing I really remember was a good thing, The stunning view from the window. (It was one of the very top floor)

I love Victoria Park. Our block is very quiet and I haven't met any ghosts yet. The initial filming was last year when we got the keys and the "after" shots in July this year. Of course it depends how quickly you do the work. We took our time over the renovations. It wasn't completely finished when they filmed, but I think you will see a difference.

You'll recognise one of the local agents was marking your card at The White Horse quiz a couple of weeks back!

Steve Davies is an old hand on Homes under the Hammer, always wheeled out when the show is in the Dover area.

[#11, I think he should be quietly quite pleased about that.]
Well Judith, my 'need' to see a happy ending to this programme grew and grew with watching, but I was not disappointed.
A big, "Well done!", to you both. You should be, as you obviously are, proud of your achievement.
P.S.
The 'Accountants'. Showed themselves to be a very shrewd couple, right down to knowing how to dress as humble purchasers.

Programme was very interesting. Well done. Do you know which house there Churchill stayed in during the war? A friend who also lived in the Mansions in the '60s (dressmaking business) told us.

Thank you all for your kind words. We have just watched the recording. We are very pleased with how the flat has turned out. It was a lot of hard work for us and our brilliant local tradesmen, but worth it. We are using the flat a lot hence becoming almost regulars at the White Horse. We will catch up with Steve and co. sometime in there hopefully.

Just watched the programme on BBC Iplayer and yes what a vast improvement the flat looks lovely and really homely. I remember a friend. living in one back in the late 50's so very nice to see one looking so good once again.

I had a flat up there no10a in the basement I had a great time up there for 3years.there was a blocked up tunnel in front yard leading to the castle so I was told and my outside toilet next to it which was under the path of the rd.I had a dumm waiter that went up to the rooms above which my Landlord had blocked up in the end.
