Well, I was born here in 57 and have lived here all my life but I never knew so much about our history until I saw this. Take a look, it's about 45 mins and a few years old now, so I expect many of you have seen it, but absolutely fascinating!!

Just to be pedantic the Castle is the key to the kingdom, more importantly I had never heard of Hubert de Burgh and Admiral Ramsay until I moved here and I think both should be prominent in our history books.

I was born here in 1942 it was a real town right up till the late 1960s

That was a very good film of Dover and the land around it all which I know very well . tThank you for showing it.

Dover has a great deal of history
it just appears not all the agencies use this to the best of there abilities
