I would like to think that those in authority would clean up the bridge area of its ever-growing weeds and clear that area of them and at least smarten up the station building and surrounding area until the propsed changes are put in place.
When we have the high-speed train, there may well be people coming down to try out the journey and see what the surrounding area, as well as the wider part of Dover, is like. Perhaps with a view to moving here; living in Dover - by the sea, with our history, as we all know, is great.
Wouldn't it be better than nice, more like essential, to have the surrounding area looking good ?
There is to be a Multi-Agency meeting next week to start the ball rolling on getting the Priory part of the ward improved - on every aspect.
We need a few quick wins to gain momentum of this initiative and to make instant improments and I'm sure that every one who knows this area, also knows of the quick wins necessary.
Roger
