  The trouble is that these so called nutritional requirements are as close to real world food as we are from the planet Pluto. Well ok perhaps not Pluto as it's been downgraded from a planet to a rock but you get my drift.
  I once saw on the telly when this subject was being covered in a news story footage of these poor primary school children being fed this awful stuff consisting of a mix of foods which would have me heaving and blowing chunks with gay abandon. Sweetcorn with lasagne and some other healthy fodder. Honestly I couldn't eat my supper which went straight into the bin.
  What's worse is the poor kiddies were reduced to eating this nonsense from a plastic prison tray. The way they held their knives and forks was frankly alarming.
  Bring back sausage pie, spam fritters and proper chips. OK they weren't perfect and there was always room to improve and to those who consider this poor food please explain why there was always a queue for seconds and trading between the boys exchanging cash for an extra serving.
