    2nd january at 1.30 pm there is another walk organised by the white cliffs countryside partnership.

    meet up at st martin's battery car park on south military road and the walk is 4 miles taking about 2 hours, a glass of mulled apple juice at the finish.

    the suggested donation is £.2 again, it will be led by melanie wrigley who can be contacted on 07880 706990.

    doesn't say whether dogs are allowed.

    best to note the walk is steep in places.
