I never took part in Halloween when I was a kid as it was not done back in the 50's that I can remember. I do not mind it now though I think it is good clean fun seeing the kids dress up, in fact last night we had a Halloween night at the Mill were the children came along for a Halloween party and took part in Halloween games.

Tonight I will have sweets at home and if the children knock the door and are dressed up they will get sweets, just as some did last night. Should the children be small then I have sweets hidden under by collar and I pull them out as though it is a trick and they are from behind my ear. I never get any poor remarks about sweets not being enough it is all a laugh.

Come on we have ago when the children are up to no good but dressing up for Halloween if just about fun and if you do not want to take part put a notice on your door.

Having said all this I do not think penny for the Guy is up to much these days, which is when some older children and teenagers do go over the top in trying to get money.
