Hi all,
As you know we at Dover Community Radio (DCR) are currently building our new studios. We are appealing to anyone who has any of the following they do not wish to have anymore that they can give us free or for a small donation.
We are currently trying to finish our studios and require the below products to finish:
A few tins of light blue and white paint (any shade)
Carpet for soundproofing
Worktops to create workspace or the right size wood to build them
Wood to use for building the walls etc (where we need to finish off).
Few bags of plaster
Plasterboard
If anyone knows where to get them from or has any please do let me know. We can offer a advert for free on the station and an advert/thanks on the website in return.
I am also appealing for anyone to help with the studio build. The team are down there most Sundays and some Thursdays so if anyone wishes to come down please drop me an email
terry@dovercommunityradio.co.uk and I can let you know what times.
Also as a station we are appealing if anyone has any working (old computers) they wish to dispose of or computer parts (keyboards, mouse etc) to go with the ones we already have and fully equip them.
If anyone has a mixing desk or any old CD / minidisc players (the type that are seperate from a hi fi) please do get in touch - even if they are the ones used out and about (portables) as we're trying to get as many as possible. Basically any audio equipment like that really (microphones, headphones etc) that work. Also if anyone has any CD's/minidisc's you do not wish to own anymore please do pass them onto us as we can include them in our library.
