Was talking to a gentleman in folkestone this morning he was saying that 8 bike riders had rode for lands end to dover, to raise money for Help The Hero's past and present like are sea army and air force cadets and they are to arrive in dover today, and tomorrow morning at 11am on Dover sea front By the Yacht club there will be a staged Finnish with the press and TV coverage if any of our forum photographers would like to be there all are welcome

Would love to be there to suport H4H but am at Twickers for the yearly blood bath of the Army Navy game so will have to give it a miss this time. will put money in the pot up there though,

will the landing craft be manned by disabled servicemen like the last one that we were not infomed about?
I don't know Howard I'm not landing, I think the one tomorrow is totally separate from the one later this year but I do remember seeing a post on here about it.I think it may be June or July not sure sorry.

According to the h4h website the cyclists that have landed in Dover for the last two years are this year returning on the eurostar. No beach assault this year.

This is a cycle race organised by the Rotary Club of the South Foreland Trust for the H4H in the form of the Army Cadet Force, the Sea Cadets and the Air-Cadets.
Jim White of the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club is also in there and due to arrive at the Yacht Club at 11.00 - all those wishing to cheer him on and perhaps chip in some money for the cause, are very welcome.
