I am now back home after about 5 weeks in QEQM. I could write a book about what happened!
Long recovery after complicated remedial operation after hip replacement with wrong size hip, and resultant fractures of femur after being home for ten days.
Have to tke it very slowly now for some weeks.
Happy new year to everyone

So sorry to hear that Kath, I hope at least you got an apology for such a horrible mistake. You take care of yourself and I hope you are fit again very soon.

Your kind thoughts are appreciated.
i will be opening a bottle of bubbly soon which I should have had on Christmas day, I now have an iPad which is most useful and keeps me in touch, and a kindle to help pass the time.
Our son has been down for half the time and comes down from Norfolk Sunday for three days, a kind villager has given bob some lunches, and others helping with shopping, much appreciated.

Wishing you a good recovery, Kath.
I'm really sorry to hear about the problems you have had undergoing treatment, that is a real shame.
Really do hope you are feeling better now and that you recover.
Happy New Year to you!

A very happy new year to you Kath and a speedy recovery. Things should be better than before, in a short time. I'm glad somebody took notice of your problem and that they put things right.

Happy New Year Kath - hope you can put the awful Christmas and start of 2013 behind you, but how can they have fitted the wrong size hip ? Perhaps a student Doctor was working while a full Doctor took a rest A mistake though that should never have happened.

Goodness me, Kathleen, you poor thing. We're so sorry to hear all this, and you seemed to be doing so well after your first operation. What a rotten time for you all. Thank goodness for your son and kindly neighbours; we hear such bad news so often but there are always so many lovely people about.
We wish you all the very best for your convalescence. Make sure you really enjoy that bubbly. You've certainly earnt it!
