Thanks you all for your kind words and for coming.
I am just about to soak in a bath to loosen my aching limbs before going to the dance.
Yes, we were packed out with visitors with a steady flow all day from 10.30am only thinning out around 4pm. All exhibitors and traders were very pleased with the day and are looking forward to tomorrow.
We will have a huge crowd first thing for the drum head and I recommend people coming to the park for it. As soon as the service is over we will get going with the Swingtime Sweethearts.
Dickie Lines will also be re-appearing and we will be joined by a French choir and the Clover Sisters.
We have a real find with Dickie Lines. His routines included George Formby, Noel Coward, Jimmy Durante and the camp German officer fro 'ello 'ello.... he really is not to be missed....
The big question of course is - will the Royal Marines beat the Air Cadets in the tent competition this time? and to think the Air Cadets had three girls in their winning team, red faces on the Marines....
A great day was had by all and I think tomorrow is looking as if it might be better. I am told that we can expect more vehicles arrinving tomorrow than we had today.
