  I couldn't agree more. I use the buses pretty much daily along with other contributors on here. There is no choice - it's either Stagecoach or Stagecoach. They run a virtual monopoly. They are sloppy and indifferent to acceptable standards of customer service too often. Phone and complain - they'll just say that they are the only company with the infrastructure to run such a comprehensive service. This is true to a point but KCC to whom they should be accountable seem unconcerned about public transport. They've been sold up the river by this government in terms of funding but still continue to bleat the Tory line. We get what we vote for, I suppose.
