  Watched the local news a few days ago a helicopter landed around the folkestone road area,does anyone know why?

  Yes see the thread on page 2 about Search on Shakespeare Beach or words to that effect its on page 2. More there but it was it appears a suspected suicide...nothing found. Some press releases there from the Lifeboat guys.
