"Invitation for Voluntary and Community Groups in the Dover District
The future of health care, public health and social care is changing, with the Government's plans to reform the NHS. The voluntary and community sector has an important role to play in reducing health inequalities and helping to tackle the wider causes affecting health.
Local groups are invited to attend a follow-up engagement event on Wednesday 02 November 2011 in the Council Chamber at Dover District Council, White Cliffs Business Park, Whitfield, Dover CT16 3PJ - from 6.15pm (registration and refreshments from 5.45pm).
This event is a follow up to our first engagement event on 12 September to understand how best to engage with the voluntary and community sector. This is an opportunity to share information, feedback suggestions and agree how we can move forward together. Representatives will be present to discuss the reforms and answer any questions you may have. Please see draft agenda attached (TBC).
Places are limited to 60 - therefore you will need to book a place if you wish to attend.
