  a meeting on the above mentioned issue due to be held on the 4 th august 6.p.m. at the council offices in whitfield has been cancelled, no reason given.
  
  could be that someone has thrown a sickie.

  Could the cancellation not be because everybody was due to be elsewhere out enjoying themselves?
  Threatened with hours of gassing in an enclosed space, no wonder everybody perked-up.
