  I was out at the K abbey today and the Fountain was not on

  don't know about the fountain ted but i remember hearing that a lot of wild fowl were taken away in december/january because of the low water level there.
  
  i am pretty sure they were relocated somewhere in sussex.

  They have relocated the birds and the fish.
  
  Perhaps the next thing is the river itself?
  
  The standard approach seems to suggest that Dour needs to be moved to Whitfield...like everything else.
  
  The only thing missing from this transposition is a roundabout...is it possible to place a roundabout in a river?

  DT1 you have left out a vital stage of the process, where is your provision for at least 3 groups to hold totally opposing views , based on , well frankly nothing at all .
  These groups must be allocated huge ammounts of public funds in order to debate through innuendo and repatition , how many ducks could dance on the head of a pin , and where that pin should be placed whilst a specific type of duck is dancing , or not .
  Each debate /rant must be backed up by veiled refrences to what each group knows about each others , political views/private life/ romantic history ( delete as appropriate ) and there absolutley must be public deification of at least one figure head and anything they may or may not have said has to remain unchallenged .
  Whilst all this is going on and on and on the river will have dried up and someone will have eaten the ducks, but what does that matter

  As DT1 says, everything MUST be moved to Whitfield. It's an immutable law of nature. I mean, compared to the meandering valleys and hillsides leading into the natural estuary that is Dover, Whitfield is just so damned attractive. Plonk Connaught Park on the Whitfield roundabout, I say, and fit a scaled-down version of Kearsney Abbey and Russell Gardens onto the site of the former petrol station next to the McDonalds Drive-Thru - sorted.
  
  I do wish Dovorians would stop whingeing about the town centre's wholesale decimation by stealth. Just stop griping and move to Whitfield. Honestly...
