    I wasn't being unkind Keith, I would always applaud but not necessarily agree with your eloquent speeches made in the Council chamber but you could often just go into arguing against someone just because they were a Tory. In my conversation with Clare yesterday she was appalled with me because I said it should have been a Labour politician who had advocated the changes sought by IDS, after all The Welfare State is a Labour conception and it should be they who should bring in the changes to rectify what is perceived to be the abuse and dependence upon it by a small minority. People trust The Labour Party with welfare and would accept any changes needed more readily than those made by The Conservatives. Basically labelling the Tories as the nasty party for bringing in the changes needed is not constructive.
