13:2079627I am watching the HBO series that has just come out on Blu-Ray - The Pacific.
A terrific series by the band of Brothers team about the US Marines in WW2.
The Blu-Ray is one of the best I have seen in terms of quality it really does this fantastic programme justice. What is most interesting are the real life back stories of the US Marines featured in the series. The Blu-ray has all kinds of historical background, interviews with the individuals and so on.
Those guys certainly had a tough time in their theatre of war.
