    Yes Vic thank you for posting this topic as I got quite a shock yesterday doing my usual drive up castle hill and seeing 20 odd sheep staring at me from behind a fence!!! Then I remembered this post....

    On another note, my other half was dog walking by the Berliot Memorial the other day and bumped in to two very angry tourists. They had been directed to the White Cliffs experience by Tourist Info in Dover up castle hill. They were fuming that they had been told to go along such a dangerous road without a foot path and refuse to go any further. Why did they not direct them to use the stairs behind the Port I wonder? Whatever your opinion on a Cable Car there is just no easy access for or tourists to the Castle or White Cliffs at the moment without a giant hill to climb or shelling out for a rip off taxi from the Cruise for example.
