The five books of Moses, the Torah in Hebrew, do not have any laws forbidding the use of electricity. So the ultra-orthodox Jewish view on traffic lights may be disputed.

that is true alex, i remember when i was a kid that christians would not have the television on during sunday as it was against gods law.
i suppose that orthodox people of all religions just assume that god/allah/jehovah would have disapproved.

We watched Songs of Praise this evening. Andrea Bocelli the blind tenor sang Amazing Grace and moved us both to tears. Try banning that.
