  Starting this weekend please post here of any events that are known to members, difficult enough for parents and grandparents to keep their charges busy for a whole week without spending a fortune.

  We have a cool family event during half-term here at Samphire Hoe where we will be creating cave art! Using the megaflood that made the English Channel as our inspiration we will head down to the sea wall and on the recurve we shall use paints, chalk and charcoal to draw our pictures. Steve Walker, who will be leading this event says "If you've ever seen the street artists who do some amazing pictures on the pavement, our event will be similar except we'll be doing ours in the curve of the wall. It gives it a much more cave like feel". It will be great fun so we hope to see you there! :-)
  
  As we will be working outside you should wear clothes appropiate for the weather. If the weather is horrible :-( we will still be doing the cave art but in the comfort of the shelter and around the log burners... :-)
  
  The event is free, any donations are always greatly appreciated.

  I'll go 4th Dover Museum are hosting another of their family days next Wednesday the 17th between the hours of 10. 30 am and 3. 30 pm. It is a Roman themed day with free admission to all.
