  Lesley, I have persued the Clarendon site on a number of occasions but never got anywhere; the most recent reason and the one with the biggest stumbling block, is that it could never be DDA (Disability Discrimination Act) compliant.
  
  I think, to please most people (parents and children) the best location would be somewhere in the Priory area, around the Clarendons, but I believe that every spare piece of land has been looked at, but for various reasons, hasn't beem picked up.
  
  Clarendon field (not DDA compliant)
  Westbury allotments (too much local opposition and all plots are being used)
  The plot of land behind the JC Decaux advertising board (next to the old Boston Guest House) in Folkestone Road (too small)
  The land behind the above piece of land (has planning permission for ghouses/flats)
  Old allotments near the Malvern Pub, near Heathwood Studios, behind Clarendon Place - at the top of Malvern Road area (this hasn't been rejected,but is currently being looked at)
  
  Any other spare bits of land that anyone knows about ?
