  I've try to keep away from the political point scoring posts now, good for my blood pressure.
  
  Like Scotchie's idea, but would suggest they also may be able to help with other suggestions if they have experience of vandalism in similar situations elsewhere and solutions that have worked in stopping it .
  
  On the other hand they may come up with a worse and more expensive situation than the current one if you get a jobsworth involved!
