    this geezer was financed by the tories(maggie)to help break the strike(rightly or wrongly) this latest scam showed him up for his true colours, and the type of people the conservatives will open there arms to.

    on the wider issue without trying to move the thread to far,

    arthur called the strike at the wrong time, badly organised the dispute, led the troops down a road ofno return
    there was a lot at stake at that time and not just for the outcome for the N.U.M.
