- 2 February 2013 12:53213276we all know about the amazon with its rain forests and ancient civilizations, venice with gondolas floating serenely down the grand canal, the tiber where the great roman fleets sallied forth to conquer, the mississippi with it's great riverboats and the seemingly never ending nile.
none can actually compare with the dour here in dover where one can relax, read a book and wash one's feet at the same time.
